December 16th, 2011 | God from the Machine

SUB Magazine recently interviewed Dustin Humphrey on his brainchild, Deus ex Machina. The Jakarta-based magazine, which revolves on all things related to subculture, spoke with him on the birth of the “post-modern boys club” and the separate components that make it up: motorcycles, fixed gear bikes, and surf culture. He talks about tying them together through art, and how what used to be a simple idea progressed into something bigger somewhat spontaneously, branching out into apparel, live music, and good food. “Mind you, this is the Temple of Enthusiasm after all.”
